Lately this blog had just been my little space to air out what's been going in my head and what not.But this time it's all about my little boy. Darren is such a hyper little fellah. He loves to be outside all day everyday if he could. I told you before that he's into climbing things. Lately he's been loving to climb on top of our drawer and play with whatever stuff we have on there.I would literally tell him thousand of times not to climb on it but if there is something that I have to do even for just a split of a second I would hear him climbing on to the drawer. The next thing I know he is sitting on top of it so proud as if he had some big accomplishment.Well he sure had!
Telling him not to climb on the drawer a thousand times in a day may seem to be quite annoying on my part. But the face is just too sweet that sometimes I just have to smile back at him.Not only that he is into climbing the drawer he also loves to open the oven and climb on it.Crazy and scary, I know. Whenever he does it I know at times I am just really stern in telling him that he shouldn't do it. And sometimes I know he will do it just to attract my attention and would exit discreetly when he realize that I am starting to walk towards him to get him.Today he is actually getting better, he is more obedient.I hope he stays like that.hah!
He is obsessed with ball. And he can actually say it clearly now. He also loves birds. He knows where his eyes are and sometimes his ears. The nose and the mouth is still a bit confusing for him.He knows where his "ulo" head in Tagalog (you see he is a little bit bilingual) He loves to play peek-a-boo since he was a little baby and still loves it up to now.He can give high fives and point his pointing fingers on mine.He knows how to do handshake. And he also knows how to do mano po "put his forehead on my front hand when I gave to him. Filipino tradition of paying some respect to their elders. I guess all these he has been doing for quite a while now but I never got a chance to actually blog about it for memory sake. And I know it's not too late.
He also loves to play hide and seek with his daddy.
He can sit and occupying himself by reading his books. I know I told you this before. He likes to read by himself more than he likes me reading it to him. He would point and would read out loud.It is pretty fun to watch.

He loves loves bath time. He can live in the tub.I am dead serious. I guess every child loves bath time. But this kid enjoys it to the very core.He loves the bubbles and he loves to blow bubbles on the water. He would pretend like his swimming and would splash non stop sometimes. Oh and he is fearless.Yesterday he just decided to jumped on the pool he has the little life vest on.But when he saw his daddy playing with his cousin Hugh, he decided to jumped in. And he sure had the time of his life at the pool.
(Don't mind the gross bathroom wall,we actually clean and is usually pretty white most of the time)
He can now fold his arms whenever I say be reverent or time to pray. And I love it. He looks like an Angel when he does it. He has been saying "daaaadee", "maaa-mma" aaaaaiiiiiuuu (for i love you) when he started saying I think it might have been two months ago, I literally felt overjoyed and loved by this little guy. He also say "baal" for ball "beeah" for bird and bear.Silly guy.
He is kind of turned into quite a snobby baby to strangers, which is pretty sad considering the fact there is quite a lot of people that adore this little man. But he is totally sweet once he started warming up to you.

He loves his daddy. He would totally lit up and goes crazy whenever Daddy gets home. Daddy is his best bud and his favorite playmate, hands down. Whenever we're out and about Nate is usually the one who could make him fall asleep especially at church.I don't know why.But I think it so precious to see his head on daddy's shoulder and fast asleep.
He is such a hyper boy and a little explorer.Earlier this morning he was able to escape.I went crazy for a minute that seemed to be hours running on both side of our building looking for him.I though I lost him. But in my head I was thinking how can he escape so fast when I seriously was just a few seconds after him on the door. But then when I moved towards the playground just a few steps away from our front door, there I found him just right up front of our building under the stairs laying on his stomach playing on the puddle and kind of licking the water.Gross, I know.He sure went straight to the bathroom for bath time right after that. But it is just one of those moments where all I can do is laugh my head off.
I love him dearly. And I am so happy everyday that I get to take care of him and be hands on and build more memories with him. Kids sure grows pretty quickly. And me being able to be a mother and to look out for him every single second of the day is such an awesome thing to do Motherhood is marvelous it is wonderful, it is glorious. Of course it has it's up and down but the good have always outweighs the bad. It is such a cliche but I literally could not imagine my life without Darren. I am sure that I am not always on my best self, I have had my bad days too, you know. Nonetheless, this boy gives me all the reason in the world to put my best foot forward and to always have a motivation to improve. My child is literally my constant reminder that my Heavenly Father loves me and cares for me. He wants me to be a better person. He wants me to learn and improve in all aspects of life. He has given me such a great responsibility and at the same time He gave me one of the greatest blessing I could ever have in my entire existence.

And now I am off to do some packing.
Good night!
