I am alive! We are in Utah!

Hi friends I am still ALIVE! It has been a crazy week for my little family. Last week was Nathan's finals and then graduation. We were lucky enough to have my sister-in-law and her family to be there for Nathan's graduation. Monday we finished cleaning, packing and then we checked out from our TVA aparmtment. It was kind of sad leaving that place. We have loved that little place and we called it home for a few months. Darren started walking and had his first birthday in that house. Oh so many memories in such a short span of time. We left Hawaii Monday night and Darren did incredibly good on the flight. We had a lay over in Vegas. It was so fun to see the Sparks even for such a short time. We truly have missed them. They are one of our most treasured friends. Meeting them once again reminds me of the good o'l days at the Gellor's TVA apartment. I am glad that we have mad such AWESOME FRIENDS in Hawaii, true friends that we would always have no matter where we go.Friends means a lot, and if you got one true friend one that is real consider yourself a lucky human being.

We made it to Utah Tuesday afternoon.I'll be honest here, the weather in Utah makes me miss the sunshine in Hawaii. Like I really wish I could bring the warmth sun feeling weather in this place. I really am an Island girl,I am sure of it.But we are so happy to be here and be with family. It has been quite an adjustgment and I am sure we still have a long time of adjusting until we get settled. The past few days we have been busy looking for an apartment,Nate is still waiting. The job that he is applying for is definitely in progress there are still so much to do on their part. And I know that we just have to be a little bit more patient.

Sometimes I just want to push the fastworward button on the part where we are settled in our new place and everything is fine and dandy. On the other hand I feel so fortunate to be in our present situation right now. We have a lot of things to think of and look forward to.Darren is enjoying the company of his grandpa in the house and the lovely wonder dog Penny. It has been nice to have Uncles and grandparents around. We have lived far away from home that it feels like Darren has been robbed of those moments with the extended family. However, now is the time to make up for those lost times.

Darren's got his first hair cut.And oh boy it was a torture. He wailed and weeped as if he is literally getting tortured or something like that.It was a sad situation. But he was a trooper and we were able to leave Cookie cutter with no scratch or cut. He sure look so much more older now. I missed his long, shaggy, curly hair. But I do love his clean, handsome look. My baby is really looking more like a big boy. But change is good, growing and maturing is even better.

We had a nice lunch with all the family in celebration for Nathan's graduation just a few hours ago. Darren finally able warmed up to his Grandma.

All in all Utah is treating us well, and we are ready to call it our next home. I will keep you all posted.

xoxo
