Oh hello!

Oh I am still alive and enjoying my time with my two boys.It is so weird to feel that days has been going by so very fast.I literally feel like we need to pause,as if 24 hours is not enough. I feel like this, mostly because when the clock hits 5pm,Darren and I will be waiting for Nate to be home and everything else is on fast forward mode.It makes me miss the slow phase life in Hawaii, when everything just seems laid back and so relax. On the other hand,I couldn't complain much. Life here in Utah has been pretty good, even better than I had expected. Nate is loving his job.He is an excel junkie so every projects that he is doing at work has been somewhat thrilling to him. He loves the environment at work and best of all, he enjoys the company, his co-worker and his boss. I couldn't be any happier for him. Darren has started to communicate more, I am able to at least understand him, but he gets frustrated when I don't get or understand what he wants. He is my little buddy and I am enjoying this stage. He is so active, such an explorer. He has now realized that playing ball with Daddy is so much more fun than mommy. Now, he would rather prefer playing ball with Daddy than me. It's alright though, I'll take it.I get more cuddles, cause he is such a cuddle bug to me.

I get pretty busy too.I figured the best way to help my husband and make him feel a lot more satisfied by the end of the day, is to prepare some good meals for him. And so I have been really busy getting meals done for lunch and dinner. I enjoy it a lot, it is good to try some new recipes.

I love the grid system.I love how the streets are base on numbers instead of names.Oh Utah you make my life easier. Don't you agree with me?I mean it is such a headache when you couldn't find a place, especially when you just move to the area.Well, I got a little lost yesterday driving, but I was able to find my way back, easier since it's numbers and it is not some random names.

I have a new friend in the neighborhood. She has two kids one is a little older than Darren and a little baby. She is such an angel.I love her.She came just at the right time, when I started feeling lonely and alone. When I feel like days seem much longer cause it just me and Darren usually. And the weird weather didn't help at all. Now we have our afternoon get together, while our kids play.

Oh I just finished reading The Lady Elizabeth, such a good read. I couldn't put it down last night. And now that I am finally done, I am thinking of what to read next.Any suggestions?I am thinking of getting a membership from the public library so I don't have to spend so much money on books. I am somewhat proud of myself because my free time has been spend on reading instead of facebook.

Oh and I am in love with this song.I can listen to it like everyday and I don't even get tired of listening. Such a good music,it makes me happy.Oh the joy of simple pleasure.

So there you have it, a little update on our daily whereabouts. I feel so content and satisfied at this point in my life. I know this is where we needed to be.It is such a good feeling to be grateful and to know that everything in your life though not perfect,is in the right place. My husband is such a hard working man.He loves me and is so dedicated to our family.I am such a lucky girl. I have a wild and healthy toddler. He might be really wild and he has his tantrums, but he is my baby and he just what I need. Yes, I need him, he teaches me so many things. He is my constant reminder of those simple things that I need to be grateful for, principles that I need to work on,and just my little teacher. This why I know Motherhood and being stay-at-home is so rewarding.

PS:I am going crazy cause I couldn't find my battery charger, and all my camera batteries are dead.It is driving me nuts cause I know it is somewhere around the house.Oh well I will find it...soon..

i heard it's always cheaper to borrow books from the library than buying the books on your own... do it if you want to! :) I'm glad you're having fun in Utah & that you've found a new friend.. :)
