Our weekend!

We had a fun busy weekend. We started off early in the afternoon, when the boys played at the pool. Darren had the time of his life. He didn't want to leave the pool even though he was already shivery.

Then we headed to see the parade at the Orem Summer Festival with Jacob and the Robertsons. It was a lot of fun.

After the parade we headed to the carnival. There were tons of people, the lines on every ride were ridiculously long. So we ended up just going to two kiddie rides.Nevertheless, we had a blast.

We ended the day with the fireworks. I think we got home at almost 11pm. Darren was out. But it was just a perfect Saturday.The weather was nice and warm, and we all just had a good time. Sunday we went to church I got a new calling.Fast and testimony meeting was good, with two baby blessings. It was a nice day at church.We took Darren to nursery.He did pretty good the first hour.I think after the first hour he realized that his momma wasn't around,so he cried and they came looking for me. I thought it was going to be worse,and that I wouldn't not be able to leave him there without me or Nate. But the first nursery experience went better than I had anticipated. So we are going to keep trying,I know it will be a little tricky.But my Darren boy is becoming a big boy, and nursery should be fun for him.I know he would get used to it, and hopefully learn to love it. After church we headed down to Salt Lake to see some friends.

It was a fun short weekend.We didn't want it to the end.

Today is Monday, and so far everything is looking pretty good. I had a lot of laundry, and so my day started out productive and busy. But I have a good feeling that the rest of the week is going to be good.
